CEiMB

My apologies to my fellow members of Craving Ellie in My Belly. It's been crazy around here, what with the chest colds, pink eye and ear infections with my boys. All that in the course of 10 days! And then pre-school just ended yesterday and I have been kept very busy with questions like, "Where are we going?" and "Who's coming over tomorrow?" and the ever popular, "Why can't I have candy?"

So, there is no CEiMB from me this week. No White Gazpacho with Grapes & Toasted Almonds, which was the recipe chosen by Lauren of I'll Eat You. I don't think I've ever eaten gazpacho, and I know I've never made it. You can find the recipe on Lauren's Blog. I'm sorry that I didn't get to play along this week, Lauren. Hopefully, I can get back into the swing of things for next week.

Well, hope everyone is on their way to some quick recoveries. The weather is getting nicer, and there is a lot of playing to do.
You all take care.

Sounds crazy busy at your house! We haven't had pink eye - but Sabrina's got a fever that just won't break - and school ended yesterday, so I'm in for a loooooong summer!

Well, I am not part of CEIMB but I can relate. I hope all is well next week.

Sounds like a bit of crazy! Hope everyone is feeling better soon, and Pam - why can't they have candy, huh??? Don't you love them? :)

"chest colds, pink eye and ear infections with my boys."

I am feeling ill just thinking about that, YUCK. My kids are def. spending first ~16 years in a large plastic bubble, or I spring 100K for a decontamination shower in the foyer.

Q: "Why can't we have candy?"
A: "Because that's just what the Devil wants" -> end of conversation :)

I can relate to the sickness. We are finally all healthy here after 3+ weeks of someone being sick. I didn't get to make this recipe either. The cold soup thing was not up our alley either. But I really should have tried it at least.

You've really had your hands full! I hope everyone feels better and realizes that summer does not equal 24 hour candy!

Oh no - sorry about all of the recent ailments! They seem to come in waves, don't they? Hope everyone is feeling well soon and that you all have a great summer!

Been there (years ago). Just enjoy it - warts and all.

Ugh! I hope everyone is feeling better soon. Brianna's done with school (how can she be done with kindergarten already?!), but that actually makes my life easier rather than harder. Hang in there!
